We, at Loti Wellness, are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health and providing education to reduce stigma. As part of our efforts, we are proud to support the Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC), and the Elephant in the Room Anti-Stigma Campaign.
Prior to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we were preparing to announce a partnership between Loti Wellness and the Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC) whereby we would actively promote MDSC initiatives, and share mental health resources to help individuals better understand their symptoms and treatment options.
With the current COVID-19 National Crisis, the need for COVID-19 resources is greater now, more than ever. Thus, we will be posting some of these on our blog and social networks, as well as resharing some of MDSC’s articles. You can read the Mood Disorders Society of Canada’s Statement on COVID-19 here.
Stay Safe. Be vigilant and diligent in the care of yourself and those you love. This pandemic will pass and we want ALL OF YOU to make it through with health, safety, moments of gratitude, peace and calm amidst this storm. Wishing you and yours all the best of health!
With kindness and love,
Your friends at Loti xo
About the Mood Disorders Society of Canada:
The Mood Disorders Society of Canada was launched in 2001 to provide people with mood disorders, their families and caregivers a strong, cohesive voice at the national level on issues relating to mental health and mental illness. With particular regard to depression, bipolar disorder and other associated mood disorders, the MDSC aims to improve access to treatment, inform research, shape program development and government policy to improve the quality of life for people affected by mood disorders.
